Privacy policy

This policy describes how IncidentReportArchive, operated by ME Lawyers, APLC ("we"), collects, uses, and protects your information.

Information we collect

  • Information you provide: name, phone, email, and the details of your incident (location type, business, city, date, whether you reported it, medical treatment, and whether it happened on government property).
  • Automatic information: ad campaign parameters (UTM, gclid), the page you arrived through, and standard analytics data via Google Analytics.
  • Optional location enrichment: after you provide the business and city, we may send only that location description to Google Maps Platform to try to identify the place and display a photo and address. We do not send Google your name, phone, email, incident date, or medical information for this feature.

How we use it

  • To prepare and send a preservation-of-evidence letter on your behalf and help you pursue the records.
  • To contact you by phone, text message, or email about your request (with the consent you give at submission).
  • To measure the performance of our advertising campaigns.

Who we share it with

Your information is transmitted to ME Lawyers, APLC's case-intake systems. We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers (hosting, analytics, messaging) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.

Google Maps location content is processed under the Google Privacy Policy. This feature is optional to site operation: if Google is unavailable, your form continues to work normally.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) gives you the right to: (1) know what personal information we collect and how we use it; (2) request a copy of your information; (3) request deletion, subject to legal exceptions; (4) correct inaccurate information; and (5) not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Retention and security

We keep your information as long as needed for the purposes described and as legal-file retention rules require. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it.
